Composite materials are a product of new technologies, the technical characteristics of which allow it to be successfully applied as an alternative to traditional steel fittings for the construction of foundations, marine and port facilities, reinforcement of concrete tanks, as well as for roadway bridges and road bridges.


Today, fiberglass reinforcement (ABS) is widely used in civil and industrial construction.


This is due to a number of factors:


  • Low specific gravity TSA
  • High corrosion resistance
  • Low thermal conductivity of composite materials
  • High strength of TSA, several times higher than the strength of steel reinforcement
  • Dielectricity of fiberglass reinforcement



Prospects for the use of TSA for the reinforcement of concrete structures are considered in many research works of domestic research institutes and also confirmed by many years of experience of foreign countries.
